Conducts studies to identifying the potential source markets and establishing distributions channels. Actively involved in formulating budgets, developing and implementing Marketing strategies, PR mechanisms and advertising plans for assigned Destinations and various Travel Products for the Indian Market. Generates Outbound Market Information and formulate regular surveys to understand the client's and trade behaviour.

Assists the CEO of the organization with administrative & financial working & manages the TRAC TEAM in Delhi and other branches.

Initial assignments were in Guest Relation Services in Front Office and Regency Club Officer at The Hyatt Regency, New Delhi - one of the super deluxe hotels in the business district of New Delhi, catering to business as well as leisure markets. Regency Club was an exclusive "Hotel with-in A Hotel" concept. Qualified as "Departmental Trainer" for Hyatt International Hotels, to undertake additional responsibility of imparting training to New Entrants and subordinates.

Professional Achievements:

As a member of the TRAC Core Group & in his present capacity, he has successfully drafted and implemented the strategy to market Sri Lanka Tourism in the Indian Market. He was also a key player in securing Tourism Malaysia and Mauritius Tourism portfolios for TRAC Representations. His professional involvement focuses on providing a vision, setting objectives and implementing business strategies to fulfil the growth plans for the organization.

Other Interests:

Rajeev enjoys socializing, reading and watching sports, especially cricket. While schooling, he was an active member of the Dramatics Club. He has also participated as volunteer during IX Asian Games held in Delhi in 1982. His one great love is taking still photographs of nature.
