In the year 2000 TRAC diversified into destination marketing and Simeron started looking after the interests of Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority and Sri Lanka Tourism Board in the Western India region. Her job profile includes PR, Marketing and Communications for Western India. Simeron heads the Mumbai office and works in the capacity of a manager. Her job responsibility includes marketing and promoting Mauritius and Sri Lanka through various channels. She assists in the coordination of all marketing activities for the Western India region. She works very closely with the Travel trade of all major cities of Western India like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Pune, Indore etc. Simeron also interacts with consumers, hotels and airlines all over India.

Simeron provides administrative and project support. Simeron organises advanced training workshops for the travel trade. She also coordinates all promotional events, and industry liaison. Simeron also does creative development, planning and management of events (both PR and Trade). Simeron is well trained in monthly/yearly report management. Simeron maintains product information and consumer requests in Western India. Simeron has participated as an exhibitor in various exhibitions held in India.

Prior to her appointment with TRAC Simeron was working with Nexus Advertising for a tenure of five years. Her job there included handling clients like Raymonds, Oberoi Hotels, Buckau Wools Ltd., Bank Of America, Standard Chartered Bank etc. She developed the campaign for Raymond’s which won the “Best Campaign of the year award”.

Simeron has completed her schooling from Modern School, New Delhi and is a Commerce graduate from Sydenham College, Mumbai. Simeron has also done her post graduation in Mass Communication from Sophia College, Mumbai

Simeron speaks English, Hindi. Simeron participated in school and college plays. She is fond of music and cooking. Simeron is a witty person with a cheerful disposition. She is a team player & is very patient and a hard working member of the TRAC team.
